6. The means of two large samples of 1000 and 2000 members are 67.5 inches and 68.0 inches respectively. Can the samples be regarded as drawn from the same populations of standard deviation 2.5 inch
7. In a random sample of 1000 people from city A, 400 are found to be consumers of wheat. In a sample of 800 from city B, 400 are found to be consumers of wheat. Does this data give a significant difference between the two cities as far as the proportion of
wheat consumers is concerned?
