UNIT II DESIGN OF HIGHWAY ELEMENTS CE3405 Highway and Railway Engineering Notes

Cross sectional elements – Horizontal curves, super elevation, transition curves, widening of curves
– Sight distances – Vertical curves, gradients– pavement components and their role – Design practice
for flexible and rigid pavements (IRC methods only).

UNIT III HIGHWAY CONSTRUCTION AND MAINTENANCE CE3405 Highway and Railway Engineering Important Questions
